These prices are for up to 6 people, however the cottage will sleep up to 8, but 6 is a more comfortable number. I charge £50 per person, per week for guests over 6 in number.
The prices are from Saturday to Saturday. Electricity is paid for by a £1 meter. The cottage is also fitted with storage heaters which can be put on for you the previous day. Fuel for the open fire, is not supplied, but can easily be got from the village if needed and a fire be lit for you. Oil fired central heating is supplied at a reasonable cost in the winter months. Bed linen is supplied and all beds made up, kitchen towels and tea towels are also supplied.
Blaenafon is a very special place on the mountain, it is entirely on its own with a stream running by in front of it, every window from the cottage has either a sea or a mountain view. A cot without linen is supplied but not a high chair. I also allow one well-behaved dog at a rate of £50 per week.
Provisional bookings are best made by telephone and confirmed within 5 days with the booking slip below enclosing 25% of the week(s) amount as deposit. The balance must be paid 2 months before the holiday is due. If the holiday date is less than 2 months, then the full amount becomes due. When sending the final cheque please also enclose a further cheque of £100, this will be held against any breakage's and returned to you when the cottage has been checked.
If the holiday is less than 2 months, then the whole amount becomes due. The deposit is non-returnable in the event of cancellation and the whole of the money if it is within the two months. If I manage to re-let the week(s) in question, your deposit can be used to secure a booking on new dates.
