The conditions are practical things that it is sensible to point out to the holiday maker. To protect you and to protect my property.
About Blaenafon:
- While every endeavour is made for the highest standard
and your enjoyment everybody does have different expectations.
Which is why I want to emphasise that Blaenafon is a home
and not a five star hotel. It is not a conventional cottage.
You can expect informality, and personal charm. But you,
maybe for instance, find door that has a certain way of
closing, or the hanging space or chest of drawers is in
the bedroom adjoining.
- If you want stream linen efficiency
and bland surroundings then Blaenafon is not for you.
Blaenafon is a home and is furnished with antiques and
in a rustic homely style that makes it a place of personal
characterful and charm. It enjoys an unparelled position
on the mountainside and as such has been modernised to
give you the very best views.
- Curtains are provided at
all but two of the windows as the cottage enjoys the privilege
of being entirely on its own.
- The cottage is designed so that you are part of the countryside.
On walking from your window you will have either sea views
or mountain views. You may see the wild mountain horses,
sheep, birds, sometimes a buzzard or rabbits.
Complaints:
- In the event of any complaint, this should be bought to
my attention or the person who looks after the cottage
IMMEDIATELY. Requests for compensation will not be considered
after the holiday has ended. Any complaint will be investigated
and rectified as soon as possible after notification.
Liability:
- Every effort is made to ensure the amenities are as advertised,
however, no liability will fall upon the owner/representative
should restrictions be applied in the event of flood,
drought affecting the private water supply, power cuts,or
any other occurence outside their control.
Hirers Obligations:
- To be responsible for Blaenafon and to take reasonable
care of it, to keep it clean and tidy and to replace any
breakages or damage caused. To permit the owner or representative
to enter the property at any reasonable time, to carry
out any repairs deemed necessary to the property or equipment.
- That on no account are the number of persons to alter
from the booking form which was signed by the hirer, without
the owners consent prior to arrival.
- If the stream has
been played in or stones moved, then it is requested that
the same be left in the manner to which it was found in.No dustbin bag or plastic of any type be used to dam or
stop the natural flow of water. No refuse in particular
plastic bags to be deposited in the stream.
Insurance:
- You may care to take your own insurance out against the
possibility of having to cancel your holiday.
