The cottage offers a lovely romantic retreat for a couple or family
looking for something very different. It is on its own yet near
enough to all amenities and holiday pursuits in the area. |

Since owning
Blaenafon, I have transformed it from the stone built 2-roomed
croft into a unique, charming and very different home, in
sympathy with the surroundings, yet having all the modern
amenities. |
Every window in the house offers the most wonderful views of the
mountain or the sea.
The mountain stream runs just opposite the door. The garden
has sea views and is secluded and sheltered with a stone terrace
and small lawns.

Sitting Room

The sitting room with Victorian fireplace/open fire-3 piece
suite, colour television, pine chests and dresser, dining
table and chairs. The warm atmosphere of this room is enhanced
by the open beamed ceiling and wooden floor with rugs, with
French windows to the garden. |
Kitchen/Dining room

Made with a faced stone walls and quarry tiled floor, pine
dining table and settees in sunny alcove with sea views. Custom
made fitted kitchen in old pine attractively surfaced in multi-coloured
glazed tiles. Solid fuel Rayburn (provides central heating),
electric cooker, refrigerator, walk-in pantry. |
Upstairs Bedroom

This bedroom is such a pleasant room it can be used as a second
sitting room. The bed is low and fitted into an alcove affording
you mountain views from the comfort of your own bed (shades
of Heidi). |
Bedroom 2

This is an attic bedroom, with a pretty double victoria iron bed which is a very attractive feature, it has built-in cupboards
and Velux window. |
Bedroom 3

|
This bedroom is certainly the most unusual-the bed is 7 feet
above the floor approached by a ship's ladder and protected
by a wooden balustrade-again the bed has its own lovely view
from a "crow's nest" window. The room itself has
both built-in cupboards and hand basin. Alternatively a normal single bed is also provided in the room as in the picture. |
Bedroom 4

Bedroom no.4 has two built in single beds. Not directly above each other. Each has it's own window givinh views down to the sea. |
Shower Room
|
Made with mahogany and marble fittings.

Bathroom
|
The bathroom is entirely Victorian (with the exception of
the plumbing!). |
